Stories From the Stones: Appleton’s Civil War Soldiers

In honor of the 150th anniversary of the Civil War, the Appleton Civil War Soldiers tour will explore the lives and service of some of Appleton’s most prominent and lesser-known citizens who were involved in the Civil War. This tour will also look back at the dedication of the George D. Eggleston, G.A.R. monument in Riverside Cemetery. Tour is given by Joe Gaerthofner, a Sales Consultant for Nordon Business Environments, who lives near Riverside Cemetery.
