As the temperatures start to drop, how does curling up with a good book sound to you? If that’s your cup of tea, then there is an upcoming event for you – The Friends of the Appleton Public Library’s semi-annual book sale.
Get your gently used books for the upcoming winter season Friday, November 18 and Saturday, November 19 from 9 am to 5 pm. A special early bird sale will be held Thursday, November 17 from 10 am to 5 pm for new and current Friends members only.
Thousands of fiction, non-fiction, and children’s books, as well as DVDs, audio books, and other materials are available for purchase. Many of the items at the book sale are priced at $1 and under. Proceeds from the book sale support the Appleton Public Library.
