This year, the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center celebrates 10 years in the spotlight, and it’s time to say thank you! We’re throwing a party in your honor August 17-18 at a FREE 10th Anniversary Open House. Join us to celebrate the arts, the Fox Cities P.A.C. and all the reasons this community loves live theater. Explore the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center with backstage tours, theater workshops, presentations, performances by local arts groups and more!
Opening Night – Friday, August 17 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
On Friday, take a stroll down memory lane that highlights some of the Center’s most important milestones and moments. Join us at 5:30 p.m. in Thrivent Financial Hall for a special mayoral proclamation and listen as a panel of founders discuss how the dream of building a community performing arts center became a reality in the Fox Cities. Celebrate the evening by sampling the Center’s signature drinks and enjoy hors d’oeuvres. Have a moment onstage with TC Dance Club International as they lead ballroom dance lessons and enjoy live music from Big Mouth & The Power Tool Horns.
Family Day – Saturday, August 18 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
On Saturday, bring the whole family to the Center for a day of fun activities. Sign up for behind-the-scenes theater workshops with the pros, take part in hands-on activities for the kids including an “instrument petting zoo” courtesy of Heid Music. At 11:30 a.m. find a spot in the Main Lobby for a Mamma Mia! community flash mobchoreographed by Richard’s School of the Dance, and enjoy performances throughout the day from some of the finest Fox Cities local arts groups.
