Hey friends!
Just wanted to say thank you for being so hospitable a couple years ago to allow me to shoot my film on your streets! Here is the final film — Thank you!!
The film originated two years ago — contextually based on my personal life and journey. While writing the screenplay, I envisioned almost all of the scenes taking place in downtown appleton.
Logistically, I assumed it would be nearly impossible to acquire the access to a busy downtown intersection and essentially close downtown for a few hours. However, I had faith! I worked with Eric Lom, the traffic manager, to gain access to shoot a pretty laborious and tricky scene right in the heart of downtown. I had an incredible crew of 15 friends to help out that day. It was ridiculously riveting & exciting to have a vision come to life, in its entirety. There is only one scene in the film that wasn’t shot in downtown appleton — I am so incredibly blessed to make movies in such a beautiful, generous town! Thank you all for your support – and enjoy the film!
