Christmas Parade Donation Thank You from Thrivent

cmasangels-nightTo everyone involved in the Appleton Parade on behalf of the Outagamie Chapter of Thrivent I just wanted to say thank you!

With all of your help we received over 2160 pounds of canned goods for St. Joe’s Food Pantry. We are waiting for a few stragglers who are dropping off canned goods in the name of Thrivent Cans Hunger!, otherwise the Outagamie County of Thrivent will also be sending a check to St. Joe’s for  a little over $2160. In matching funds per pound.

  • To all of our students who walked in the parade from Appleton East, Appleton West, Xavier and Fox Valley Lutheran. Thank you!
  • Congratulations to Appleton East who took on our challenge and brought in over 1745 pounds of cans. $500 to you!  Which school will win next year?
  • Thank you to Klemme’s Floats.! Our float was beautiful!  Thanks to Scott Juvie, from EMI radio station for pulling the float!  Thank you to Sawyer and Ella for being Joseph and Mary for us!
  • To Greg Otis and Don Burich.  Thank you for everything.  You do an amazing job of organizing a parade.!

I look forward to working with all of you next year!

Susie Behnke , Outagamie Chapter President of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans.
