Globally Sound Fair Trade is going into their 8th year of business. Eight is a very important year for store co-owner Germaine. She likes that number because it has no beginning and no end. It’s infinite. Germaine likes that number so much that she was married on August, 8, 1970 (8/8/70). She teased her husband that she thought they should wait until August 8, 1988 (8/8/88). Needless to say, he didn’t want to wait that long.
