Wildwood Film Festival will celebrate its 13th annual event at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center on March 8, 2014. This year’s festival will feature over 30 films… each having direct ties to the state of Wisconsin. “This year’s festival featured workshop will be a panel “Screenwriting 101” which will take place free of charge in the Lawrence room inside the Radisson Paper Valley Hotel in downtown Appleton”, said Jason Buss, one of the festival’s founders. “We are thrilled to offer another terrific line up this year and to continue the tradition of celebrating Wisconsin’s film talent as we have for now thirteen years.”
A schedule of the film screenings can be found on the festival’s website. Festival show times are 1 p.m., 3 p.m., 6p.m. and 8 p.m. Tickets are available online, at the Fox Cities P.A.C. Box Office or any Ticketmaster outlet.
About Wildwood Film Festival
Founded in 2002, the Appleton‐based Wildwood Film Festival showcases and
celebrates Wisconsin film talent. The Festival is the primary source of funding for Wildwood Productions, Inc., a non‐profit organization that fosters the development of original storytelling in film. Their support is instrumental to the Festival’s mission of nurturing independent artists, inspiring creativity and encouraging variety in the arts. As the organization grows it hopes to educate filmmakers of all ages on the fundamentals of film making such as script development, cinematography and editing.
