Foxtrot Over the Fox: Community Building Hope for Sexual Assault Survivors

Foxtrot Over the Fox: Community Building Hope for Sexual Assault Survivors by Josh Dukelow.

On October 3, Downtown Appleton became the backdrop for a fundraiser for the Sexual Assault Crisis Center – Fox Cities. Iconic buildings, the Farmers Market, and the Fox River all play a starring role in the event. It’s a great example of our community giving back!

On Oct 17, I’m dancing in Shall We Dance along with 7 other Community Dancers. We are raising funds and awareness ahead of the big day. One way I did this was to dance the foxtrot the entire length of the Oneida Skyline Bridge (nearly a mile) from Riverview Gardens to Houdini Plaza!

This video captures the stunt and communicates what motivated me to do it. It also shows what every viewer can do to help inspire hope for survivors of human trafficking and sexual assault. Every gift makes a difference! Please donate here:
