Apple Jam Open Mic at Jack’s Apple Pub every Sunday 9pm:

Appleton’s longest running open mic. There is no cover charge so come catch a free live show or jam with some excellent local musicians.

Jazz Jam @ Harmony Cafe Feb. 19, 7-9pm:

Hosted by jazz musicians from Lawrence University. Bring your instrument & your voice and jam with our house band. Free and family-friendly

 

Family Night on Broadway during Sister Act at Fox Cities P.A.C.:

Adults may purchase one ticket and receive a kid’s (ages 9-18) ticket free, while supplies last for the May 7 performance. This offer is available through the Center’s ticket office and ticketmaster.com and begins Friday, Feb. 7 at 10 a.m.

LU Theatre Arts at the Stansbury Theatre Feb. 20, 8-10pm, Feb. 22, 3-5pm & 8-10pm:

Elmer Rice’s Pulitzer Prize-winning play “Street Scene” examines a 1929 New York neighborhood and its diverse inhabitants.  ($5-10)

 

Open Mind Night @ Harmony Cafe Saturdays, 6-9pm:

Poetry, music of all genres, dance, comedy, etc. All talents, all ages welcome! Sign-up starts at 5:30 p.m.

 

4th Annual Heritage Day at Mc Guinness Irish Pub Feb. 22, noon-midnite:

A day of pipers, irish dancers, Trivia, whiskey and cheese samples, traditional Irish music, presentations , giveaways and craic. Headliners Folk-N-Irish

 

Harmony Live:  Saturdays at Harmony Cafe 7-9pm:

This week features BLOTH, experimental Dream Punk Pop, and DR. LIGHT, experimental electronic music.  Free and family friendly.

 

StoweGood Concert at Atlas Coffee Mill Feb. 22, 7-9:30pm:

A best selling author/cancer survivor teams up with a Grammy nominated musician/noted keynote speaker for music, laughter & tears. (Tickets $15)

 

Music @ the Library Feb. 23, 2-3:30pm:

Featuring the Fox Valley Flute Choir performing Irish, folk, classical, and contemporary tunes. Families welcome. Free admission.

 

LU Symphonic Band Concert at Lawrence Chapel Feb. 23. 3-4:30pm:

The concert, titled “Observances,” features “Suite Française,” “Danses Sacred and Profane,” “Spheres,” and “Universal Judgment.” Free and open to the public

 

LU New Music Series: Roomful of Teeth at Lawrence Chapel Feb. 26, 8-9:30pm.
