One Stop Elf Shop Kids Market: This new seasonal shop inside City Center gives kids the opportunity to shop for gifts for their parents, siblings and friends with the help of an elf! (All products are priced in even dollar increments with tax included to make it eay for the young shoppers.) Open every Saturday Nov. 15-Dec. 20, 10am-2pm.

Family Day Downtown, Saturday, Nov. 22: Enjoy the window displays, carolers, special offers, refreshments, and visits & photos with Santa 11am-3pm at Gabriel’s Furniture! Experience the Indoor Farm Market inside City Center and enjoy special story times or decorate a cookie with Mrs. Claus 10am-noon! Make it a tradition and a special way to spread the joy of the Holidays.
The 44th. Annual Downtown Appleton Christmas Parade will march down College Avenue on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at 6:30pm featuring floats highlighting “The Avenue of Lights”! It will be preceded at 6:03pm by the Santa Scamper and Thrivent Cans Hunger Food Collection to benefit St. Joseph Food Program.
Immediately following the Parade, the Annual City of Appleton Christmas Tree Lighting Cermeony will take place in City Park at approximately 7:45 p.m. The event will include members of the Appleton East choirs singing Christmas carols, live animals, and Santa & Mrs. Claus handing out candy canes to the children.
Small Business Saturday on November 29, 2014: This is your opportunity to support small businesses in your community. These are the same businesses that answer your questions and provide help with your shopping while supporting many charitable events throughout the year. Celebrate with them and enjoy special offers & refreshments!

Holiday Fun Fest Saturday, Dec. 20: Enjoy a brand new event featuring Thrivent Financial’s Avenue of Ice. Enjoy ice carving demonstrations, live reindeer, horse drawn wagon rides, refreshments, visits with Santa and more in Houdini Plaza 10:30am-2:30pm. Plus Live Window Displays noon-3pm and Ice sculptures along the Avenue!
